About Franchipani

Our team has a genuine desire to create a pleasant atmosphere, special in many ways. Sanji, Nadja and Fentje know how to create a good atmosphere, this is their main concern. They will recommend you the best wine to drink with delicious food.

And Iīm in charge of the delicious food, Heidi, the boss! I could write a long story on how and why it originated but I can also keep it short.

I have a wonderful profession that gives me alot of satisfaction. Itīs fun finding essential ingrediants on such a small island and even more fun converting them into delicious dishes. Itīs especially satisfying to have customers who are happy and have spent an enjoyable evening eating good food served with a smile and listening to good music.

 

About the products
All the ingrediants are organic whenever possible and of course always fresh. Thereīs a variety of markets I like to wander around where I buy the best vegetables, fish or meat, the basis of any good meal.

 

The menu and the menu of the day
Our menu is for big and small appetites alike. There are tapas, starters and alot of main dishes which you can also ask for in half portions and the desserts are small and sweet.
The menu is updated annually (in August) with new dishes but the old favourites always remain.

There are always new dishes in the daily menu so that life in the kitchen is always stimulated and the customer always has the choice of something new and different.
